VRP/Limestone Racing Fund "A" was created to do just this! Back in April top bloodstock agent David Ingordo acquired two extremely well bred athletes from the OBS 2025 Spring 2YO In Training Sale. On October 2nd, VRP/Limestone Racing acquired the 3rd and last member of the "Fund A" team from a private sale through trainer Mark Roberts at Hidden Brook Farms.
A big, strappingly handsome 2 yr-old chestnut colt from legendary sire Candy Ride. The dam is Voting Agreement from More Than Ready. There is solid depth in both ends of this colt's pedigree, with the 2nd dam having excellent success as both a broodmare and runner.
A beautiful bay 2 yr-old filly with a long stride sired by the best sire of winners the world has ever seen, More Than Ready. This one is very special to us as More Than Ready also sired VRP's brilliant 2024 Breeders Cup Mile Champion More Than Looks. The dam, a Change Of Heart, was sired by Unbridled's Song and also has solid depth in her pedigree. This is More than Ready's last crop of horses as he passed away 2 years ago.
The third to the team is a 2 yr-old colt by one of North America's top sires Twirling Candy. This well bred, athletic colt sports a stellar pedigree. The dam is Miss Red Delicious sired by Empire Maker.
The fourth and final addition, Candy King, is a 2 yr old gelding also by Twirling Candy. I’m excited to share that he just broke his maiden in his 2nd start going wire to wire at Horseshoe Indianapolis. We are very excited about this guy.

A third-generation horseman, Joe brings a lifetime of industry experience to his hands-on training operation. After honing his craft under top conditioners like Mike Maker, he has built a successful stable with wins across the country's major racing circuits, highlighted by his recent achievement as Champion Trainer at the 2025 Churchill Downs Spring Meet.

After a formative eight-year tenure as an assistant to Chad Brown, Cherie launched her own stable in 2018 and has quickly established herself as a top-tier trainer. In just over five years, her horses have earned over $22 million, highlighted by VRP's own More Than Looks capturing the 2024 Breeders' Cup Mile World Championship. With multiple Grade 1 winners and consistent success at the highest levels, Cherie's sharp horsemanship and meticulous approach deliver elite results.
